it's not over (until it's over)

Ten weeks to the end of the year. I counted.

(Before long it will be 2015. And I will be 24.)


For as long as I can remember.

I've been preparing, planning for the future.

High school. Uni. (Exchange.) Work.

.....

I remember telling M about my US trip.

"Not long until you can start crossing off days."

"I always cross the days off my calendar."

"Yes, and you keep a diary."

(One foot in the future. One in the past.)


I (try to) live in the now. Generally.

But the thing is. 'Now' is tied to past and future.

(So I tell myself anyway.)
