Skyfire 2014

While I couldn't be tempted to wake up early for the Balloon Spectacular, I did make it to the annual Skyfire fireworks display –  another 'Canberra tradition'.

This year I walked to avoid the traffic and because I could (only 25 min!)

Absolutely beautiful and best of all, no buildings to block the view. Using the absence of a skyline to its advantage. Well played, Canberra, well played...
