and the most difficult, i think.

unless centred properly, the clay will 'wobble'. 

resulting in somewhat lop-sided work.

(fine too, if that's what you're after.)

lesson: it pays to get the foundations right.

in all things, including life.

pottery class has been grounding.

(no pun intended.)

the feel of the clay. rhythm of the wheel. 

it's mesmerising. addictive.
