unfinished thought

I'm writing more than ever but less for myself.

Don't get me wrong, I love writing for others but it does come with more responsibility.

(Ah, back in the days when it was my diary and I.)

With only SIX weeks until 2016, it will soon be time for my 'The year that was...' (2013 2014) and 'A few of my favourite things...' (2013 2014) posts. My annual tradition and gift to you.

In the meantime, here are two pieces of work published this week:

1. Q&A (Part 1with Lex Hirst, 2014-15 Co-Director for National Young Writers' Festival. Warm, generous and inspiring, Lex is someone you can't help but like straightway.

2. Review of A Strangeness in My Mind by Orhan Pamuk. 599 pages. A mesmerising love letter. Like an unfinished train of thought, it lingers at the back of your mind, just waiting to resurface.
